I bring my international experience on the shores of Lake Lecco

Forged by a long experience in other countries, actually my cuisine has remained firmly Italian: after some years in Scotland, I worked in the most luxurious hotels of the Ligurian riviera between Portofino and Rapallo, and of Switzerland, particularly in the area of St. Moritz.

Liguria has marked me with the power of its vegetable world: think of oil, rosemary, herbs, the power of the flavors of the inland cuisine.

Meeting men who have inspired me has been a blessing in my life. Figures of the caliber of Gualtiero Marchesi, a person of deep culture and master of what is “the beautiful, the good, the right”. And I remember with great gratitude Pierre Gilgen, Swiss Chef, a man of great class and simplicity, who taught me the golden rule “learn to take away, not add“.

It is in the lariana land that comes my consecration

as Chef-patron in Albavilla, in the heart of Alta Brianza, a few steps from Lake Como: this is where I received the Michelin star in 2007, and I like to share my work with young people eager to learn. “Creating excitement” is an exciting and enriching experience, also at the DRERA bistro.
